The sampler is also pretty good and easy to use, though the fact you have to open up the preference pane to choose which output it plays on is a pain. In fact I think you can remap the controls on the xponent the same way should you not like the default mappig it comes with. Though I think that is only an issue with external Vinyl or CD control, it shouldn't cause you any grief with an Xponent.įor those without an Xponent, mapping the various buttons, knobs and faders to whatever midi controller you have is as simple as right clicking whatever you want to assign, and then twiddling/pressing on your controller. It basically works as advertised other than a truly whacky implementation of pitch lock. Once you get past how ugly it looks anyway, though I guess thats a personal preference. I haven't used Traktor other than the version that came with Final Scratch 2 many moons ago so I cant really compare them for you.įor what it's worth though, Torq is a great piece of software. I have Torq, but I'm using it with vinyl control not the xponent. ![]()
